County Golf Partnerships (CGP) are to receive in excess of £600,000 from Sport England with the aim of getting more than 900,00 adults playing the sport weekly by April 2013.

The funding, which will distributed through the England Golf Partnership, is part of £12.5m being given to the sport between 2009-13.    taylormade r9 fairway wood

The sum of cash, which will total £616,977, is a reduction in funding of £107,023 after figures from the latest Sport England Active People Survey revealed that the number of adults playing golf at least once a week has declined from 948,300 at the start of the funding period to 852,100 at the latest update.

Much of that decline has been in the over 30s age group, with the EGP's own findings echoing those of Sport England, with the effect of the recession a factor.

Today clubgolf is doing just that - giving primary school youngsters the chance to pick up some clubs, gain some confidence and then go on to be coached at clubs by qualified volunteers and pros.

And this despite him having a valid ticket and having obtained prior permission to wear the suit, according to a report in TMZ Sports on Thursday

The fan, Jason Goodwin, hoped his suit would lift the sprits of the World No 1 and help him win the tournament.

Instead, Goodwin was thrown off the course and shown the gate by a security guard at the TPC Boston, allegedly because he was distracting and annoying Argentina's Angel Cabrera, Tiger's playing partner.

TMZ says that Cabrera found the suit "too bright and bothersome". g15 irons

Goodwin has now filed a small claims lawsuit against the PGA in Boston, insisting his civil rights were "infringed upon" and he is claiming the amount of $7150 to out things right.

Goodwin told TMZ he had set the amount at $7150 because it was the most he was allowed to sue for in a small claims court.

He added: "I want to make the point that you can't tell people what to wear."

After the rehearsal dinner at our son, Mike's, wedding in San Antonio several years ago, we were all down along the River Walk when I introduced Jack to my sister, Milinda. He said, "She sure is pretty," to which I answered, "Yep. She got the good looks in the family, but I got the brains." Jack studied me for a few seconds, then said, "If you got all the brains, there must be some really dumb people in your family."

Jack enjoyed a highly successful career in sales and sales management. One of the main reasons for his success was his ability to insure that the people who reported to him enjoyed their work. callaway razr x irons

A number of years ago, I did a motivation research study during a joint venture with the Duffy-Vinet Institute outside of Philadelphia, as part of a multiyear training contract we had with one of the world's major oil companies. The subjects were salespeople who also maintain ongoing relationships with their customers.
